Happy Monday Quotes #14: Inevitability

Lately, it seems the weeks have been flying by, and I can’t believe we’re already right in the middle of Fall. I am shocked every time Monday hits, and I find myself less far along than I want to be with personal and professional projects. Time is inevitable, as are a lot of other things in our lives.

Long story short, a few wise thoughts on “inevitability” are always appropriate.

“After all, if you do not resist the apparently inevitable, you will never know how inevitable the inevitable was.” — Terry Eagleton (from Why Marx Was Right)

“It is the mark of a good action that it appears inevitable in retrospect.” — Robert Louis Stevenson

“Most quarrels are inevitable at the time; incredible afterwards.” — E. M. Forster
